A FAMILY DECIDES to go solar.
“We were very impressed with Zach and the entire company and the people that came out. They are all top-quality, nice people. It was so simple it was incredible. The only thing we had to do was hand over the check .”
Jerry had the idea of going solar in the back of his mind until, one day; he heard someone knocking on the front door. A solar salesman was standing on the welcome mat. Jerry felt the salesman in over his head as he delivered his pitch. The salesman then revealed that it was his very first pitch. Jerry changed his direction.
The conversation piqued Jerry’s interest, even though the salesman needed to gain the experience he could rely on. Jerry was now serious about solar. He found Freedom Solar through Yelp after doing some online research.
Family Consultations with Sales Manager
Zach Stirling, the sales manager at his company, was contacted to arrange a consultation. Zach Stirling was highly knowledgeable and left a lasting impression. Regan Jung was the site assessor that designed a solar solution tailored to Jerry’s roof. Freedom’s employees shared their solar knowledge and experience with Jerry and his wife in a friendly Texan manner.
Jerry received a phone call after the paperwork was completed to schedule the installation. The solar solution was installed on his roof in just two days. The SunPower solar panels looked stunning on his top. The city inspector visited a week later and found that the system had passed his thorough inspection. Jerry turned off his electric bill by flipping a switch.
The entire process was “effortless.”
The SOLAR ROI for Families
“It’s worth the money. It’s amazing, and I am very pleased with it. Since the system was installed, we haven’t had to pay a penny in electricity bills. .”
The Austin Energy rebates and federal tax credits made it difficult for Jerry to say no to solar. Solar energy is attractive for many reasons. Many people are attracted to solar energy for a variety of reasons.
Jerry considers the financial benefits from the perspective of his annual return. He explained, “I’m often asked about payback, but I’m more interested in the return on my investment since we no longer pay for electricity.” This is a good return without risk.
RESIDENTIAL SOLAR PANELS AFTER ONE MONTH
“We love it. “I’m feeling green and hip.” You can be greener than the kids !”
Jerry’s system went live on October 25, 2016. His HVAC costs the most in electricity because it is primarily gas appliances. He was able to generate significant credits with his utility by going solar in the autumn when they were not using their air conditioners as much. Even though his air conditioner was on all summer long, his family didn’t pay for electricity the entire year, thanks to their solar array.
Jerry is very happy with his monitoring system. He still checks his production online every day a year later and is amazed that he hasn’t paid any electricity for this year. Jerry can look forward to many years of savings. The system is running smoothly.
